P.S. FILM cutter plotter vinyl - linear meter
- Sku: SSPSF010
PS FILM is sold per linear meter
1 linear meter = 1m length x 0.5m width
PS FILM - The vinyl with the widest color range
Opaque film made of polyurethane, with small thickness (it ismuchthinnerthanthe "Videoflex" film) andbacking made of adhesive polyester. Due tothe adhesive backing, the material performs verywell in applications with complex graphics or small letters.
Since 2008, the film meets the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 toxicity standard, class I, allowing printing (personalization) of textile materials for newborns.
The film is cut in mirror image, and the heat transfer is done using its own backing.
- transfer temperature: 150° C;
- transfer time: 10-15 seconds;
- pressure: low;
- washing temperature: maximum 80° C, but it can also be dry cleaned.
The backing is removed while warm.
Since P.S. FILM is made of polyurethane, the iron can be applied directly over the print and not on its back, as with ordinary materials.
Note: Due to the wide variety of textile materials available on the market, it is necessary to test the compatibility between the film and the material to be printed beforehand. Transfer temperatures and times are indicative, based on our tests and practical experience. For optimal application, it is recommended to pre-iron the material to be marked.
Recommendation:
Practical tip for easier material peeling in a short time: after cutting the film, place it with the backing on the lower platen of the press, preheated for 7-8 seconds. Heating softens the adhesive backing of the film, allowing you to peel off the excess material much more easily, sometimes even in a single motion (depending on the size of the letters and the complexity of the cut graphics).
